Professor Dr. Gloria Barksdale is the sole owner of Project MOTHER, Inc. and Build a LIFE Workshop, LLC. Project MOTHER, Inc. founded in 1996 and established in 2014 as a 501(c)3-woman, minority-owned company is located on a five-acre property known as “Legacy Acres” in Virginia. MOTHER is an acronym for Millennium Opportunities to Heal, Educate and Rehabilitate.
Build A LIFE Workshop is a subsidiary of Project MOTHER, Inc. The organization provides a LIBRARY of services including career coaching, life skills training, spiritual workshops and training materials, creatively crocheted clothing products, a full-service book writing and publishing service and much, much more.
